About the EHS Program
Free Hosting until January 2010Educational Hosting Solution (EHS) program from Verio is an easy and powerful way for INETA Registered User Groups to provide more value to their existing members and to increase the visibility of their group to potential new members. The EHS program provides User Groups with a free Virtual Web Server EHS, which can be used to offer educational hosting accounts to their user group members at no charge. User Groups control the account access - and it’s easy for members to create sites, manage and maintain.
So what's the catch?
- DOMAIN NAME: User group members must have a second level domain pointing to their free site within 30 days of site activation. This domain does NOT need to be purchased from Verio.
- DURATION: EHS free hosting accounts will be made available through January 31, 2010. After that, Verio may or may not continue to offer the program.
- OPT-IN EMAIL: User Group Leaders and User group members who receive hosting accounts must opt-in to Verio email relating to the Free Hosting offer.
